Elevate Your Research with Our Journal Club Community!"

The BioIcon Academy Scientific & Research Seminar  convenes every Sunday, either online or in person at the academy premises. Initiated by Dr. Md. Monirul Islam, the club brings together BioIcon Academy members for informal discussions, allowing them to hone their presentation skills to the standards often seen at scientific conferences and expand their scientific understanding. Alongside fostering intellectual exchange, the club serves to keep members updated on current topics of interest in the field of life science.

Journal Club Guidelines:

  1. Objective: Foster critical analysis and collaboration in biology research.
  2. Membership: Open to all with interest in biology and research.
  3. Meetings: Regular frequency based on member agreement.
  4. Journal Selection: Choose impactful, relevant journals.
  5. Article Selection: Focus on recent, relevant research.
  6. Preparation: Read selected articles thoroughly before meetings.
  7. Discussion Format: Structured, respectful dialogue led by a moderator.
  8. Presentation Opportunities: Volunteer to present articles.
  9. Documentation: Summarize meetings for reference.
  10. Feedback: Regularly gather input for improvement.
  11. Promote Research Literacy: Enhance critical thinking skills and evidence-based practices.
